It has come to the time of year again when I always decide that the house needs freshening up with a lick of paint in most rooms!

So it’s not possible to do all the rooms but the bathroom and kitchen along with conservatory at this time of the year certainly need some attention.

I can never decide on what colour to paint them without buying half of the paint samples in our local DIY superstore and at which point I could have bought the pot of paint to paint the walls with what I have just spent on samples!

Unfortunately when it comes to decorating I can’t just stop at the paint – I have to carry it through and finish off all the accessories like the towels in the bathroom to nice new rugs in the conservatory and lounge, not forgetting the new cushions to match too.

Pictures are hard to choose and think they are one of those things that you just happen to see when you are out and about.  I have tried many times searching for a certain coloured picture or canvas but end up trawling through different websites and still not finding the right one.

Fingers crossed that next time I am out shopping I will suddenly stumble across that perfect picture!
